Dams Directory The NPDP Dams Directory is an inventory of US and international dams. The database contains information on the name, location and characteristics of dams. Every effort is taken to ensure that these records are as complete and as accurate as possible. Failure Modes The NPDP Failure Modes Database is comprised of information on modes of failure for structures, systems and components that are part of dam systems. The failure have been identified from dam incident information or as a result of potential failure mode analysis studies.	Lessons Learned The NPDP Lessons Learned Database is a collection of lessons regarding the performance and safety of dams as learned from actual dam incidents.
