1. How can the NPDP resources be accessed?
At this time the primary means to access the resources at the NPDP archive is by phone. You simply call the Center at Stanford and indicate the information you are looking for. The Center staff will notify you of the information that is available. The information will be summarized for you, photocopied or loaned as appropriate.
2. Is there a cost to use the NPDP resources?
At this time, organizations that are not Affiliates of the program are charged for handling and photocopying costs. It is anticipated in the future there will be user fees that will be imposed.
3. Will the NPDP resources be accessible on the Internet?
We are currently working to bring three main databases to the Internet. They are the NPDP Dam Inventory, a dam incident database and the NPDP reference database. These resources will be available on the World Wide Web.
